As part of an Adobe Illustrator course, I designed the instruction manual and packaging for my boulder brush, SnappaBrush. The illustrations on the back of the cardboard sheet show the different ways to use the brush on various types of climbing holds. Each was drawn over reference photographs on a Cintiq tablet in Sketchbook Pro, then vectorized and coloured in Illustrator.
On the front, the brush itself is fastened to the cardboard with hemp string, reinforcing the raw, tactile feel of the packaging alongside a background image of scattered magnesium powder.
