In the context of an Adobe Illustrator course I made an instruction manual and the corresponding packaging for my boulder brush. The illustrations on the back side of the cardboard sheet show the various ways of using the brush to clean different types of climbing holds. They were made by drawing over photographs on a Cintiq-tablet in Sketchbook Pro, then these drawings were vectorized and coloured in Illustrator.
On the front side the brush itself is attached to the cardboard by hamp strings. They create a rough atmosphere, which is underlined by the background image, showing a splash of magnesium powder.
